Nelson Mauro Maldonato is a psychiatrist and professor of Clinical psychology, University of Naples Federico II. He is Visiting professor at the l’Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC) di São Paulo, and Duke University.

He has contributed to the puntOorg book series with the afterword of Fuor di Metafora. 

He has contributed to the puntOorg international Journal with "The Unconscious Logic of Decision-making".
